Russian researchers (lead by Streliaeva AV,) report in the Dec 2011 issue Meditsinskaya Parazitologiia i parazitarnye bolezni (article in Russian) using Latrodectus mactans, in combination with the authors’ designed diet and other homeopathic agents to relieve pain syndrome and normalized amino acid exchange in atypical paecilomycosis-associated myocarditis, which offered possibilities for successful surgical treatment for echinococcosis with later recovery.
