One of the most memorable instances where we called upon Mr. Mueller was when our now 8 year old son pushed his now 6 year old sister Melissa backwards off the bed. They love to play fight on the bed and regularly push each other off. But this time, he was angry at her, kicked her at the hip and she flew backwards and landed hard on the thoracic area of the back, almost knocking the wind out of her.
She was hysterical. I’ve never seen her like that. We laid her onto the bed, flat on her back. I immediately grabbed the remedy kit and gave her a pellet of Hypericum, cause I figured the greatest injury was a jar to the spine. Immediately after the pellet, she fearfully told me that the big toe on her left foot felt like pins sticking it. I touched around the area and she could not feel me touching it! OOOOH NOOOO! I was starting to panic now.
My husband immediately called Mr. Mueller, who fortunately, had time between appointments to speak with us right away. Gary relayed the details whereby Mr. Mueller said that perhaps the tingling and numbness was the result of swelling from the contusion (bruise) and we could try Arnica next. He also agreed that Hypericum should be alternated but we had two problems here- bruising and swelling & spinal injury. Gary immediately pulled out our remedy kit and gave her Arnica in a 30C potency and mixed some in a bottle while I tended to her in bed.
Before the first dose, Melissa couldn’t sit up (and wouldn’t even try). After the first dose, she let me help her lift her upper body to drink some water (Ok, good news!). A few minutes later, I asked about her toe, “Mommy, it feels again,” she said smiling! Wiping the sweat from my brow, the thoughts of permanent paralysis began to fade.
We gave Melissa remedies the rest of the day. That night, you couldn’t even find the bruise. Her back was sore for a few days and we continued with the Arnica until the soreness was gone. THANK YOU MR. MUELLER AND HOMEOPATHY!
