Our “eyes are the windows to our soul” means that your eyes can reveal your true nature, and your true psychological state, like happiness, sadness, or disinterest. The health of our eyes and our ability to see is in fact a reflection of our whole health. Eye problems have been on the increase now for decades. While eye surgery might be an option for some, it is fraught with many other adverse effects that may be permanent.
Eighty years ago Dr. William Bates, an American ophthalmologist, developed a series of eye exercises that teaches people how to relax their eye muscles to improve their vision. In my early forties, I myself was able to get rid of my eyeglasses completely when I did the exercises.
Even obsessive thinking can harm your eyes. Reducing your stress, improving your overall mental health and deliberate relaxation exercises can go a long way to help your eyes get well. Homeopathic treatment can also help reduce your stress levels and even directly reverse deterioration of your eyes.
