In Honor of Our Office Manager
Kristina Star, C.hom
Since February is the month of “love”, Mr. Mueller and I want to express our appreciation and gratitude for our irreplaceable office manager and friend, Kristina Star (pictured with horse Piper).
Kristina has been working with us since August of 2008. She took a brief hiatus to work at King Bio Homeopathic Pharmacy, but returned to our office 5 months later. She’s been in the hot seat ever since! Kristina is a trained homeopath and graduate of the Homeopathic Academy of Southern California (HASC). She has a special interest in animal cases, especially for using homeopathy to treat horses.
During her time working for us, she has met each and every challenge with enthusiasm and a contagious “can do” attitude. She works with an admirable efficiency and dependability. And in a pinch, when an emergency call comes in and Mr. Mueller cannot take the call, she helps out by taking the case herself.
Our most cherished memory is when she stayed with us in the hospital after the birth of our third child, giving Manfred some much needed rest. She wanted to be there with me so I “would have an advocate there when I was most vulnerable.”
Thank you Kristina for all you do!

The Value of Early “Homeopathic Thinking”
Before Christmas, our eight year old daughter Sophia was staying at her grandparents house for a few days before the rest of the family arrived. It was her turn to visit them without her 3 younger brothers in tow. She had looked forward to this trip for months. On the second day, she called home and Mr. Mueller answered the phone.
“Hi Papa” she said drearily.
What’s wrong Sophia?
“I’m so glad to hear your voice Papa. I don’t feel good. I don’t feel like Grandma or Auntie are treating me very nicely. Neither is Grandpa. Everyone is disrespecting me and picking on me…” She trailed off.
Sounds like you might need a remedy, sweetie.
She continued, “I guess I’m irritable and, and (weeping) I’m weepy! I think I need Pulsatilla.” She let out a big sigh.
Yes, I think that sounds like a good idea.
“Ok Papa, thank you. I love you. Goodbye.”
Goodbye, I love you, too.
The report came a few hours later from her Grandma. “I don’t know what you said to her but she is acting completely different. She had a sour look on her face since she got here, wouldn’t smile, was irritable and rude to us – totally different from normal. She is always such a sweet and loving child!”
Well, maybe it wasn’t anything I said…
Homeopathic Patient Survey
The American Medical College of Homeopathy (AMCH) www.amcofh.org created an updated North American Patient Survey of 2014 to solicit and evaluate the experience of patients that use Homeopathy. This research study has been approved by the AMCH Institutional Review Board. Updating the survey will enable them to compare and contrast results with the previous survey and highlight changes in patient experience in the last seven years. It will also provide data about clinical outcomes across a broad range of conditions.
Survey open from January 1st 2014 to March 31, 2014.

Homeopathy Succeeds in Treating “Untreatable” Conditions
“In this 2008 pilot study of five different hospitals, 1602 follow-up patient appointments consisting of 235 separate medical conditions were studied over a one month period. (The five most referred conditions were eczema, chronic fatigue syndrome, menopausal disorder, osteoarthritis and depression.)
The results of these difficult to treat patients showed that with homeopathy, 34% of follow-up patients reported improvement by their second appointment, and 59% by their sixth appointment.

Use of Homeopathy in Pediatric Oncology in Germany
“Homeopathy is more frequently used in the treatment of childhood cancer in Germany than any other complementary therapy. In this interesting study, most parents who used it for their child had experienced it previously and said they would recommend it to others in a similar situation. Compared to other complementary therapies, user satisfaction for homeopathy was rated as very high. The majority of prescriptions were made in the hospital setting by non-medical homeopaths.
Wouldn’t it be terrific is this were possible in many more hospitals in many more countries? Everyone would win – the children, families, and staff.”
